We have established a strategic cooperation alliance with Wuhan University of Technology and Chambroad Institute, building a domestic excellent technology research and development team. We have developed a new type of carbon mineralization material CCUS technology with independent intellectual property rights and advanced technology in China, which directly absorbs CO₂ from industrial exhaust gas by the way of "renewable resources + CO₂" and forms a multifunctional composite material that rapidly captures and sequesters carbon.

Project Introduction

This project, set to be a key project in Shandong Province in 2022, has a total investment of 380 million yuan. The first phase of the project covers an area of 40 mu, with an investment of 150 million yuan. Ground was broken in May 2022, with completion and commissioning scheduled for the same year. With an annual production capacity of 4 million m² of carbon sequestration stone building materials and an annual sales income of 280 million yuan, this project serves as an industrial experimental demonstration plant for direct utilization of CO₂ on a ten-thousand-ton level. It is equipped with world-class technology and plays an essential role in supporting the national carbon-neutral strategy.
Currently, the strategic cooperation with Shandong Hengfeng Thermal Power Company as the pilot unit is feasible in technology and controllable in cost, which can promote the recycling of industrial renewable resources, reduce CO₂ exhaust emissions, promote the transformation and upgrading of chemical energy industry structure, and inject fresh impetus for the green and low-carbon development of the industry. As a key demonstration case of CCUS technology, it is of great significance for the project to be put into industrial production.
In the future, we will increase technological innovation, closely follow the policy guidance, and replicate and promote it nationwide, contributing to the achievement of the "carbon peak and carbon neutralization" goal.
