Industrial Demonstration Project for Direct Utilization of CO₂ on a 10,000-ton scale

The project is a key project in Shandong Province in 2022, with a total investment of 3 million yuan, the first phase of the project covers an area of 8 acres, with an investment of 40 million yuan, which was approved in May 1 and completed and commissioned in the same year, with an annual output of 5 million m² of carbon sequestration stone building materials, and an annual sales revenue of 2022 million yuan, which is a 5,400-ton CO₂ direct utilization industrial experimental demonstration plant, and its technical level is in the world's advanced position, which is of great significance to the achievement of the national carbon neutrality strategy.

At present, with Shandong Hengfeng Thermal Power Company as the first pilot unit for strategic cooperation, the project is technically feasible and cost controllable, which can promote the recycling of industrial renewable resources, reduce CO₂ tailpipe emissions, promote the transformation and upgrading of the chemical energy industry structure, and inject new impetus into the green and low-carbon development of industry. As a key demonstration case of CCUS technology, the industrialization of this project is of great significance.
